Jardin Design

This secluded urban garden is designed to provide space for growing fruit and vegetables as well as different places to sit and enjoy the garden in quiet reflection.  To the side of the lounge, the doors open on to a small leafy ‘courtyard’ space, with a secluded bench among the planted containers and fragrant climbers.  The brick edged gravel leads around to a natural sandstone patio, with a circular feature providing a sunny spot to dine in privacy, whilst enjoying the view of the garden.  A small pebble fountain creates the soft sound of gently moving water, whilst a climber helps to green the brick wall.  

As the lawn curves down the garden between two small fruit trees, a gravel circle in the bottom corner offers a quiet, shaded and private space to read and reflect screened with trellis panels and fragrant climbers.  A raised vegetable bed sits within the utility area for some productive gardening.
